About Science Week
From October 1 to 6, the First National Science Week will be held in Yerevan and all regions. For six days, Freedom Square will host a Science Festival, while decentralised events will take place in kindergartens, schools, and universities.
Over the course of six days in Armenia, there will be lectures, seminars, masterclasses, competitions, and scientific experiments.
Participants will learn about the latest scientific discoveries, interact with scientists, and try their hand at various projects.
Connecting Science to Society
is the theme of the First National Science Week. From Yerevan to the smallest villages, Armenia will celebrate a week of science and technology.
Our goal is to make Science Week a national platform for popularising science in Armenia.
A platform that will help make science accessible, understandable, and appealing to all segments and age groups of society, inspire the younger generation to engage in science, encourage the selection of disciplines considered a priority for Armenia, and promote the development of critical thinking and knowledge-based discourse.
Science Week is an international format. It is initiated and implemented by the "Gituzh" initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture,
and Sports of Armenia, the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, and the Yerevan Municipality.
